Art has always been a powerful tool to bring people together and create positive change. In the case of the Doctor 1919 NFT collection, 19 talented Venezuelan artists came together to raise funds for a great cause. This initiative was led by Jonathan Blum, and with the support of Cisneros Media, they created a beautiful project that combines art, technology, and faith.
Inspired by the iconic figure of José Gregorio Hernández, a renowned Venezuelan doctor and philanthropist, the Doctor 1919 NFT collection pays tribute to his legacy by bringing together some of the most talented artists in Venezuela. The collection features unique pieces of art, each of which has been created using generative art techniques that ensure that no two NFTs are alike.
Each piece is a reflection of the artist's personal style and vision, and together they create a stunning collection that showcases the talent of Venezuelan artists. My piece was inspired by the beautiful colors, flowers, and plants we have in the natural landscapes of my country Venezuela.
The launch of the collection was in Black Dove Art Gallery in Wynwood during Art Basel.
It was a very special night to finally see all our art come together, knowing that we all live in different cities around the world. Some artists could come to the opening so it was really special to finally meet them.
Jonathan Blum, the driving force behind the Doctor 1919 project, is a well-known figure in the art world. He has always been passionate about using art as a means of giving back to the community, and this project is a testament to his commitment to making a positive impact in the world. The support of Cisneros Media has also been crucial to the success of the Doctor 1919 collection.
In conclusion, the Doctor 1919 NFT collection is not just a beautiful collection of art, but it is also a meaningful initiative that is helping to make a difference in the lives of children in Venezuela. I would like to give thanks to Jonathan Blum and the amazing team that made this happen. Their dedication and hard work have made a significant impact, and we hope to see more projects like this in the future.
